Frequency separation was used in photoshop to achieve the polish effect.

Two photos were taken with very difference exposure setting. I used the HDR blend mode in photoshop to create this effect.

The new building in the background had to be taken out and lighting had to be improved. High pass filter was used to enhanced the contrast and details.

The Balloons were going up at different times. I had to take a few balloons from different pictures and put them in one.

I changed the hue color of the model's skin and added two special horns to it's forehead. The puppet wrap tool was used to make the smirk on his face.

I added clouds in overlay mode and apply a radical blur to create this effect.

I also apply the frequency separation to smooth the skins.

It is always useful to shoot in RAW format because it retains so much information. I was able to pull more info from the overexposed area and used the gradient tool to lighten the lower half of the picture. The freedom tower lights were also fixed as well.

The first thing that caught my attention was her eyes. I had to crop that portion and used frequency separation and high pass filter in a layer mask to enhanced only her eyes.

It was meant to be a creepy scene. I added greenish light to dramatize the picture.

The power line was so distracting! I had to take it off with a combination of healing, cloning and the brush tool to make a seamless.

The Fuzzy hairs had to be cleaned up. You also don't want to make it too even or else it would look fake.
